This page features my two adorable granddaughter's Amelia and Brooke. It was Amelia's birthday party. Both girls are 6 and you'd think they were twins as well as they get along. I hope they always have this amazing relationship.

I was invited this month to be a guest designer for Funtoolas kit club. I must tell you, the kit was gorgeous!! I fell in love with the rich colors of the paper. The flowers were so stunning, and the other embellishments included buttons, a die cut bird cage, cute alphas, and lots of bling. I created 2 pages and a card and still had some paper and bling left over. I want to thank Cindy for the honor of getting to work with such a beautiful kit!!!!

This is my adorable Granddaughter Brooke. She was 5 years old when this picture was taken. She's always been such a fashion Diva with her own unique style. She's lucky that she has a mom that let's her be herself and gets a kick out of what Brooke comes up with. She put all the colorful little braids all willy nilly in her hair and it was just so cute and totally HER!!!

This is a page featuring my boyfriend John and I at a 5 year old's birthday party. It was cute. Then we had to leave that party and go to my Granddaughter's birthday party. I guess we're just party animals. LOL!!

My Creative Sketches ( DT LO)

This is my first take on this months sketch for my design team work at MY CREATIVE SKETCHES. Win awesome prizes!!!! Just go to http://mycreativesketches.blogspot.com/ and play along!!!

Here's a close up of the flower I made using various fabrics such as tulle, a loose woven, a sheer, and lace. I used the Tim Holtz 'Tattered Flowers' die to cut them out. Layered the different textures onto a brad and added a button.

This is my late hubby Bruce and me. I had just turned 30 and he 29. I've never loved anyone like I loved that man. I still do in fact. Everyone knew we had a great love. People would remark about how much in love they could see we were. He was the perfect husband except for his disease of Alcoholism. Even then, he never stopped being the sweetest man in the world to me. I just wish I'd known he was so depressed and hopeless. I wish I just had one more day with him to make him feel less desperate. Just one more day to tell him how much I loved him. I just wish I had that last day back to reaffirm my love for him and maybe he wouldn't have taken his own life.

I did this page of my late Darling Husband using the beautiful papers from 'Scrappy Chic Cafe'. I miss this sweet man so much. He had his problems but he thought I was the cat's meow and was always a love to me.

The site is fairly new but growing every day!! Christine has some great items in her on line store and she's getting more and more! There's even a few Dusty Attic items left. I entered this LO into 'http://scrappingthemusic.blogspot.com/ and I WON!!!!!!! I am just thrilled. The song we had to scrap to was 'Hand in my Pocket' by Alanis Morissette. I took this picture last year when the grands were over. Shane ask me to take some pictures of him doing stunts on his skateboard. LOL!!! I'll have to scrap the rest of them because he was just too cute about it.

My adorable Grandson at Cocoa Beach. He caught two waves on his Dad's surf board and rode them all the way to the shore. His Dad was so excited since that is one of his passions. Shane was really excited too. I bet he wants to surf all the time now. When I taught him how to snorkel last summer I created a monster. LOL!!! He's a true water bug, just like his Dad!!

With my weekend swiftly coming to an end, I at least got one page done. I'm still waiting on Fall to come so I'll have some cooler weather to work in. Fall, shmall, I'm praying for Winter!!!
