My Creative Sketches ( DT LO)

This is my first take on this months sketch for my design team work at MY CREATIVE SKETCHES. Win awesome prizes!!!! Just go to http://mycreativesketches.blogspot.com/ and play along!!!

Here's a close up of the flower I made using various fabrics such as tulle, a loose woven, a sheer, and lace. I used the Tim Holtz 'Tattered Flowers' die to cut them out. Layered the different textures onto a brad and added a button.

This is my late hubby Bruce and me. I had just turned 30 and he 29. I've never loved anyone like I loved that man. I still do in fact. Everyone knew we had a great love. People would remark about how much in love they could see we were. He was the perfect husband except for his disease of Alcoholism. Even then, he never stopped being the sweetest man in the world to me. I just wish I'd known he was so depressed and hopeless. I wish I just had one more day with him to make him feel less desperate. Just one more day to tell him how much I loved him. I just wish I had that last day back to reaffirm my love for him and maybe he wouldn't have taken his own life.

I did this page of my late Darling Husband using the beautiful papers from 'Scrappy Chic Cafe'. I miss this sweet man so much. He had his problems but he thought I was the cat's meow and was always a love to me.

I entered this LO into 'http://scrappingthemusic.blogspot.com/ and I WON!!!!!!! I am just thrilled. The song we had to scrap to was 'Hand in my Pocket' by Alanis Morissette. I took this picture last year when the grands were over. Shane ask me to take some pictures of him doing stunts on his skateboard. LOL!!! I'll have to scrap the rest of them because he was just too cute about it.
